Group Classes

These classes will be grouped with Bella's K9 Training students

Location: Greece Canal Park near the dog park.

~~Puppy Kidergarten~~

Ages 16 weeks - 6 months old

This class is intended to help puppies learn proper social skills and introduction to Basic Commands

5 Classes Starting -- TBD

Held every week for 5 classes

First class, please provide shot records and do not bring your dog. We'll go over training tools, class registration forms and payment.

To reserve your spot in the class, please purchase the $20.00 reservation fee which will go toward your final payment at the first class.

~~Basic Training~~

Ages 6 months and older

This class is for Basic Training commands

7 classes starting -- TBD

Held every week for 7 classes

First class, please provide shot records and do not bring your dog. We'll go over training tools, class registration forms, behavior questions and payment.

To reserve your spot in the class, please purchase the $20.00 reservation fee which will go toward your final payment at the first class.

~~Advanced Basic Training~~

Ages 6 months and older

*Must have completed Basic Training in Private or Group courses

Continues Basic commands with additional social skills and maintenance training

Held every week for 7 classes

First class, please provide shot records and do not bring your dog. We'll go over training tools, class registraion forms and payment.

General Class Information:

Once your spot is reserved you will be contacted via email with a registration form to complete and bring to the first class.
DO NOT bring your dog to the first class. The first class is about you as the handler. All questions and concerns will be answered. We will go over final payment. A behavior questionnaire will need to be filled out to assess your dogs temperament to attend the class. If your dog can not attend class we will discuss further training options for Private training.
Do NOT feed your dog before class. Your dog should be HUNGRY. (Working for treat reward)
Wear closed-toe athletic shoes and comfortable clothing you can move around in
Bring your dog to and from class on a 4- to 6-foot leash. Dogs MUST be on leash at all times

Items you will need for class:

Nylon buckle, snap collar head collar, front harness, prong collar. (We will discuss the correct tools needed for your dog at first session/consult)

Nylon leash 6 feet long, suitable for the size of your dog. (No flexi, retractable leashes or chains allowed)
A 10 to 15 foot light-weight long line or rope.
Lots of SOFT, moist training treats, cut into tiny cubes, such as cut up hot dogs or boiled unseasoned chicken.
Plastic poopy bags in case you need to clean up after your dog.
Written proof of dog's current vaccinations.
